Manchester United fans are sure to fall in love with Zlatan
Ibrahimovic this season.
Despite being past his prime at 34, Zlatan still scored 38
goals in Ligue 1 last season as PSG romped to another
French title.
In 2016-17, Ibra will wear the number nine shirt for United,
and on Saturday the Red Devils launched their official
unveiling of their new home kit.
Last season, the number nine shirt was worn by French
forward Anthony Martial, after he joined the club from AS
Monaco.

journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi about how the Swede got to
get his number.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was allowed to choose his number
when he moved to the Theatre of Dreams.
He picked the number nine, and the club allowed his
choice before informing Martial he’d need a new shirt this
season.
The story paints an image of how the hierarchy will play
out inside the dressing room at Old Trafford this term.
