Chelsea v Liverpool in California
On Thursday morning (UK time), Chelsea play Liverpool in
the Rose Bowl in California, in what has been billed as a
pre-season friendly in the International Champions Cup.
All eyes will be on both Premier League giants as Jurgen
Klopp and Antonio Conte prepare for the new season.
This will be Liverpool’s fifth pre-season match. They have
won all four and are yet to concede a goal so far.
Chelsea, under new manager Antonio Conte, have played
two games in 2016/2017 pre-season, winning one and
losing one.

Chelsea fans heading to the Liverpool friendly have created
a banner that could well rankle fans of the Merseyside
giants.
It could well be seen by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard,
who of course, currently plays his football for LA Galaxy.
The banner refers to John Terry’s four Premier League
titles.

Steven Gerrard (Slippy G) failed to win a Premier League
winners medal despite a trophy-laden career at Anfield.
Gerrard’s best opportunity of a Premier League title win
came in the 2013/2014 but his slip in the 2-0 home defeat
by Chelsea cost Brendan Rodgers’ side dearly…
See the Terry 4 – Slippy G 0 banner expected to get a run
out in California this week below
