The 50-year-old whose net worth in 2016 according to Forbes was $8 billion, making him the 13th richest person in Russia, and the 151st richest person in the world. Late in the year 2010, Abramovic acquired a highly expensive yacht named ‘Eclipse’ estimated to be about €340 million (N115bn) – built in Germany by Blohm of Hamburg. It is the world’s second largest private yacht which boasts of two helipads, 24 guest cabins, two swimming pools, several hot tubs, and a disco hall. Major General Abubakar Tanko Ayuba (rtd.), former Communications Minister, is dead. The senator representing Kebbi South constituency, in 2007, died Wednesday afternoon at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi Araba, Lagos, of an undisclosed ailment. Details of his death were sketchy as at press time, but it was gathered from sources at the hospital that prior to his death, Ayuba had been on admission at a private ward for about two months. Ayuba attended the Nigerian Military School and Nigerian Defence Academy.
