Diego Simeone wants Chelsea to target Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic if he takes over at Stamford Bridge, according to Don Balon.
The Atletico Madrid boss has reportedly held talks with the Blues hierarchy and named the midfielder, Marco Reus and Edinson Cavani on his transfer wishlist.
Simeone is said to be an admirer of Rakitic and tried to woo him to Atletico before he joined Sevilla shortly after the Argentine had taken over in the Spanish capital.
Rakitic has become an important member of the Barcelona team but could be sold for the right price, the report claims, due to the arrival of former Atleti star Arda Turan.
