Popular Premier League referee, Mark Clattenburg, has quit the English Premier League (EPL) to continue his career in Saudi Arabia. The Premier League referee, Mark Clattenburg has quit his job in England to take up a new position in Saudi Arabia, it has been announced. A statement from Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGGMOL) announced the decision of its highest-rated official, who was in charge of the finals of Euro 2016, the Champions League and FA Cup last season. The naira has tumbled woefully against the dollar at the parallel market leaving investors and Nigerians in more difficulty. The Naira has crashed woefully against the dollar in the parallel market leaving the local currency in shambles. The local currency lost N3 from N507 it traded on Tuesday to exchange at N510 against the U.S dollar on Wednesday. While both the Pound Sterling and the Euro-single currency were exchanged at N625 and N535 respectively. At the Bureau De Change segment, the Naira closed at N399 to a dollar, a CBN stipulated rate. While the Pound Sterling and the Euro-single currency traded at N626 and N537. On the interbank market, the Naira traded at N305 to the dollar, the same rate it traded on Tuesday. Traders across all the segments have attributed the recent drop in the Naira value to the activities of some speculators and currency hoarders that will do anything to profit at the expense of the Nation. The bone of contention between Nigerian singers, Majek Fashek and Timi Dakolo seems far from over as the winner of the inaugural season of Idols West Africa in 2007 has issued a public response to allegations of Intellectual Property theft slammed on him. Timi Dakolo has published documents showing he did not infringe on copyright laws when he did a remake of Majek Fashek’s ‘Send Down The Rain’.   The documents released by Timi shows that an agreement was signed by Charles Novia who represented Majek Fashek while the sum of N500,000 was paid on behalf of Timi Dakolo by Now Music to November Records.   According to THE NET, Charles Novia also released a statement saying Timi Dakolo did not break any laws.  ‘Well yeah, I brought a statement on this last year which absolves Timi of any wrong doing and we still stand by that statement. ‘Majek in the presence three or four witnesses gave us permission to negotiate that deal on his behalf. A Chinese drone maker has revealed a giant quadcopter big enough to fit a passenger will be buzzing through the Dubai skyline in July. Dubbed EHang 184, the drone is described as the world’s first ‘Autonomous Aerial Vehicle’ for transporting people. The rider punches in a destination on a touch screen in front of the passenger seat, then the drone would fly there automatically. A National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has said only people that are crazy will say he was not with President Muhammadu Buhari last week. In a statement on Monday, Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State, said mischief makers were behind the news that he did not visit the President. The statement, signed by his spokesperson, Alhaji Tunde Rahman, said Tinubu was in London with the Interim National Chairman of the APC, Chief Bisi Akande, to visit Buhari.
