Dr Thomas-Wilson Ikubese, on Monday officially declared his intention to running for president of Nigeria. Below is the full text of his declaration: Fellow Nigerians, I make this declaration with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes. I weep for Nigeria, my beloved country! Nations which were in the same league with us at independence have since joined the developed world, while we are daily retrogressing rather than make advancement. Nigeria ought to be the pride of the black race. But today, we have become a global embarrassment! This nation is blessed with vast natural and human resources. Yet, we live as though we are sub-humans. Our albatross over the years, is largely hinged on the fact that those who manage our resources are ill-prepared for office, selfish and lack the vision for posterity. In 2011, I wrote a book tittled MY PRESCRIPTION FOR NIGERIA. In that publication, I stated the 23 areas that must be addressed for Nigeria to become the nation o...

He was looking healthier than when he came back the last time. Buhari is back to life.” Another governor in the delegation s...

The Executive Vice Chairman of the NCC, Umar Garba Dambatta made this known while speaking with the journalists. This planned development is in response to the growing usage of data plans by Nigerian consumers. Dambatta said: “We have noticed that the level of data usage is growing. This attests to the earlier assertion by the NCC that data is going to be the next frontier. “You recall that NCC attempted to do the interim price floor for data in order to ensure that we do not have a price war in the data sub-segment of the industry. “This of course met with resistance from the consumers; and because the NCC is a listening agency, we suspended the interim price floor. “As I am talking to you, there is a cost-based study going on in order to arrive at an accepted, affordable data price floor which will come int...
