The forward has scooped the individual gong for the second time in his career after helping Real Madrid and Portugal to Champions League andEuro 2016 glory respectively. Real Madrid and Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has won the UEFA Best Player in Europe award for the second time. Ronaldo, 31, claimed the prize ahead of his club team-mate Gareth Bale and Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann. The forward, who first won the award in 2014, scored the winning spot-kick as Madrid beat Atletico in the Champions League final on penalties in May,And Ronaldo then went on to help Portugal to their firstinternational title with victory at the Euros, scoring three goals during the tournament.

[08:33, 8/1/2016] ‪+234 810 396 5534‬: BREAKING: FG Scraps Hnd , Merges Polytechnics With Universities  Monday, August 01, 2016  Gist Great News flying around as the Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved a comprehensive reform of Nigeria's tertiary education system, scrapping the award of the Higher National Diploma (HND) by the nation's polytechnics. In effect, the award of the HND will be limited to only the students currently admitted for the programmes. Also, all the programmes currently being run by the polytechnics, which are not technology-based, and which are about 70 per cent, will be scrapped. Under the new rule, the polytechnics will now become campuses of the proximate universities with the Vice Chancellors of those universities appointing provosts for the polytechnics, subject to the ratification of the Universities Councils. The polytechnics will now be limited to award of the National Diploma (ND) while those desirous of further education
